About me
Jennifer Kindel serves as the SCDNR State Bat Biologist and manages federally funded bat projects to understand, manage, and protect populations of our state's secretive and beneficial flying mammals. She grew up on a farm in Oregon, received her master's in Wildlife Biology from Oregon State University, and has been working with SC bats since 2016. Jen lives in Simpsonville with her husband and two boys and works statewide.
